Job summary

Airbus Operations Limited in Filton, Bristol invites undergraduates to join the Business Operations, Performance Improvement team as a Business Operations Intern for 12.5 months starting 16 August 2027. The role focuses on analyzing plant performance, improving processes, and driving efficiencies.

You'll develop dashboards, support reporting, manage improvement projects, and collaborate across Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Finance, and Operations.

Qualifications

• Studying towards a degree in Business, Engineering, a Technical field, or equivalent.
• The ability to communicate effectively.
• The ability to collate robust and informative presentations.
• The confidence to lead key sessions and present accordingly.

Responsibilities

• Performance Dashboard Creation: Developing and maintaining dashboards using data analytics to track key operational metrics.
• Business Reporting Support: Assisting the team with regular business reporting requirements and data analysis.
• Improvement Project Management: Leading or supporting ad-hoc improvement projects within the plant environment.
• Daily Operational Support: Working directly with the Business Improvement Manager to support daily activities and departmental efficiency.
• Efficiency & Analytics: Analysing data to create business cases regarding AHPS reduction, focusing on the trade-off between investments and potential savings.
• Digital toolset Deployment: Assisting with the development and rollout of digital tools on the shop floor to improve data reporting, capture Health & Safety risks, and align with Airbus Operating System standards.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Engaging with teams across Manufacturing Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations, and Finance to drive industrial improvements.
