Job summary

Airbus Operations Limited in Filton, Bristol offers an internship within the Operations team to support digitalisation and production improvement projects. You will work with cross-functional teams on shop floor activities, rate changes, and safety initiatives, with exposure to real manufacturing processes.

The placement is open to undergraduates for 12.5 months, starting 16 August 2027. 35 hours per week, hybrid working options, 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, and potential for development

Qualifications

• Undergraduate student pursuing a degree in Business, Engineering or a technical field.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Interest in coding and digital tools.

Responsibilities

• Assist with day-to-day shop floor activities, rate changes and operator involvement schemes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (procurement, logistics, quality, design) to improve production efficiencies.
• Support safety, health, and environmental improvement projects.
• Help operations integration managers identify performance trends and support improvement plans.
• Contribute to digitisation efforts to roll out tracking tools for manufacturing.
