Job summary

Airbus is offering an exciting internship within the Operations team at Filton Plant. You will support the head of production to deliver initiatives with shopfloor leaders and other support functions, aiming to boost Operational Performance.

The role is open to undergraduates for the entire placement, with a focus on Business, Engineering or technical fields, and includes hybrid working options and core responsibilities across cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate students are eligible for the placement.
• Ability to communicate effectively.
• Ability to collate robust and informative presentations.
• Confidence to lead sessions and present accordingly.
• Interest in coding and digital tools.

Responsibilities

• Provide operational support on day-to-day shop floor activities and changeovers.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (procurement, logistics, quality, design) to improve production efficiencies.
• Assist safety projects and drive Health, Safety and Environmental improvements.
• Identify performance trends and support delivery of improvement plans.
• Support digitisation efforts of manufacturing tools and upskill the workforce.
