Job summary

Culina is hiring for a despatch/driver co-ordination role in Ullesthorpe, United Kingdom. The position involves debriefing drivers, verifying timesheets and PODs, and scanning PODs to Culina depots. You’ll prepare drivers’ packs, issue delivery notes, and handle despatch documentation.

Responsibilities include answering calls, communicating ETAs to Customer Services, and maintaining accuracy in spreadsheets and trackers. Weekend coverage may be required.

Qualifications

• Experience in driver debrief and timesheet checking.
• Ability to verify PODs and scanning procedures.
• Good communication with colleagues and external stakeholders.
• Flexibility to cover holidays and weekend shifts.

Job description

• Correctly debriefing drivers.
• Checking all timesheets for correct completion and ensuring all PODs are returned completed correctly.
• Scanning in of PODs and sending off to the relevant Culina depots
• Preparing drivers' packs and issuing delivery notes correctly any other relevant delivery information.
• Printing all despatch notes and replenishing despatch paper as required.
• Answering the telephone and assisting with any enquiries.
• Downloading drivers' cards / tachographs.
• Ensuring all estimated time of arrivals (ETAs) are communicated to Customer Services.
• Consistently updating relevant spreadsheets and trackers
• Departing loads using Transport Management System (TMS).
• Ensuring all uplifts are despatched in correct loads.
• To provide holiday and Sickness cover which will be 07:00 - 19:00 which can include weekends Ability to communicate in a positive and clear manner both with colleagues and external stakeholders
• Be a good team worker demonstrating loyalty and commitment to the organisation and team members
• Professional, approachable and helpful to ensure smooth running of the general operation
• Knowledge of company procedures and actively demonstrates compliance
• Ability to plan, organise and prioritise work to deadlines

• Salary: £30,750 Shift: Monday to Friday- 10am till 7pm.
