Job summary

Culina is seeking an Operations Administrator to join our Chilled & Fresh division. The role involves supporting drivers, managing PODs, timesheets and despatch documentation, while ensuring accurate information flows to Customer Services.

You will handle driver packs, despatch notes, and maintain essential spreadsheets to support daily operations. The position runs Monday to Friday, 10am–7pm, with flexibility to cover holidays and sickness including 07:00–19:00 on weekends.

Responsibilities

• Debrief drivers correctly and manage documentation.
• Check timesheets and ensure PODs are complete.
• Scan PODs and forward to relevant Culina depots.
• Prepare driver packs and issue delivery notes accurately.
• Print despatch notes and replenish despatch paper as needed.
• Answer telephone and handle enquiries.
• Ensure ETAs are communicated to Customer Services.
• Maintain and update spreadsheets and trackers.
• Operate loads using Transport Management System (TMS).
• Ensure uplifted loads are dispatched correctly.
• Provide holiday and sickness cover, including early start 07:00-19:00 and weekends.

As part of our, Chilled & Fresh division, we have an exciting opportunity to join the team as a Operations Administrator

Shift: Monday to Friday- 10am till 7pm. Must also be flexible to cover holidays and sick cover (7am till 7pm on weekends)

Main Responsibilities:

• Correctly debriefing drivers.
• Checking all timesheets for correct completion and ensuring all PODs are returned completed correctly.
• Scanning in of PODs and sending off to the relevant Culina depots
• Preparing drivers’ packs and issuing delivery notes correctly any other relevant delivery information.
• Printing all despatch notes and replenishing despatch paper as required.
• Answering the telephone and assisting with any enquiries.
• Ensuring all estimated time of arrivals (ETAs) are communicated to Customer Services.
• Consistently updating relevant spreadsheets and trackers
• Departing loads using Transport Management System (TMS).
• Ensuring all uplifts are despatched in correct loads.
• To provide holiday and Sickness cover which will be 07:00-19:00 which can include weekends
