Operational Resilience Specialist

London - Hybrid model

Contract - 12 month minimum

We are currently supporting a large 'Buy side' international Financial Services organisation based in London with the recruitment of a senior Operational Resilience professional for a minimum 12 month contract period.

The role will be responsible for identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks associated with the organisation's operations and maintaining high standards. The role will influence operational strategy and plays a critical role in strengthening resilience.

This opportunity will also advise and influence stakeholders to reinforce a robust resilience framework. Looking to ensure close cooperation with the first and second lines of defence to provide policy guidance, expertise, oversight, and reporting.

Key responsibilities -

• To manage the further development of the Operational Resilience framework.
• To ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements.
• To ensure that all the policies and controls are embedded and fit for purpose.
• Managing the governance of IBS (Important Business Services).
• To also drive the assessment and facilitation of IBS and Impact tolerance.
• To review regulatory changes and assess impact on the resilience framework, also address changes if required.
• Manage stakeholders across the business to ensure adherence to all framework requirements

You will need to have strong demonstrable experience in leading change and development in an Operational Resilience environment from within the buy side within FS.

Coupled with the ability to manage stakeholders at board level including presenting complex analysis to drive business decisions.
