Job summary

Government Recruitment Service in Lowestoft is seeking an Operational Management Information Developer to turn data into meaningful insight and support decision making across Universal Credit and Labour Market services.

You will produce MI, dashboards and analytical products using Power BI and SQL, lead improvement projects, collaborate with senior stakeholders, and help shape performance measures that drive service delivery.

Qualifications

• Experience producing management information and visualisations with BI tools.
• Ability to develop analytical products using SQL or similar languages.
• Proven ability to combine data from multiple sources for insights.
• Experience leading analytical projects and managing priorities.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication with non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Produce insightful management information, analysis and visualisations using Power BI or similar tools to support operational and strategic decision making.
• Develop robust analytical products using SQL or similar programming languages, ensuring outputs are accurate, reproducible and quality assured.
• Combine and interrogate data from multiple sources to generate meaningful insights, identify trends and inform business improvements.
• Lead analytical and performance improvement projects, delivering outcomes at pace and managing competing priorities effectively.
• Identify opportunities to improve service delivery and operational performance across Universal Credit and Labour Market services.
• Build effective relationships with stakeholders at all levels, including senior leaders, to influence decisions and deliver complex outcomes.
• Present complex data and technical findings in a clear and engaging way for non-technical audiences.
• Foster an inclusive and collaborative working environment while contributing to team objectives, efficiencies and continuous improvement.
