Job summary

AMRA is seeking an Associate Director, Digital Operations in London to lead day-to-day digital operations and scale our global administration services. You will work with Usage Processing, Finance Operations, and BI & Automation teams to ensure operational excellence across the function.

The role blends management experience from consulting or corporate advisory with hands-on delivery, governance, and cross-functional collaboration in a technology-driven music environment.

Qualifications

• Experience within a management consultancy, professional services firm, corporate advisory, legal practice, or similar environment, ideally at Manager level or above.
• A Bachelor's or Master's degree in a numerical, financial, technical, or legal discipline.
• A proven track record of delivering complex projects, process improvements, and operational change initiatives.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret large, complex datasets and translate them into practical business solutions.
• Advanced SQL skills are essential, with experience querying, analysing, and validating large operational datasets.
• Excellent project management and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to explain technical or operational concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• The ability to build trusted relationships across Operations, Finance, Technology, and senior leadership teams.
• A genuine interest in digital music, licensing, technology, and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day processing of digital usage data across the global Digital Operations function.
• Oversee cross-functional operational projects from planning through delivery, ensuring on-time completion and value.
• Provide day-to-day leadership across project teams, remove blockers, support delivery.
• Lead documentation, mapping, and standardisation of end-to-end processing and royalty workflows.
• Improve communication between Operations, Finance, Technology, and other business functions.
• Monitor performance metrics and identify opportunities to improve processes and service delivery.
• Develop understanding of AMRA's digital data pipelines, processes, and reporting workflows to resolve issues.
• Build relationships with senior stakeholders and engineering teams, including KTech.
