Job summary

Christian Dior Couture is seeking a highly organized, full-time Operations Supervisor to join the Selfridges team in London. You will supervise all key operational processes including stock, till, aftersales, IT, payroll, and client experience to ensure excellence and compliance.

The role reports to the Operations Manager and covers multiple areas from stock management to security, with a focus on training and guiding a high-service team in a luxury retail environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience at Supervisor/management level within luxury fashion or a high-service retail environment.
• Strong operational knowledge across stock management, audit compliance, health & safety, and boutique administration.
• Analytical profile with advanced Excel skills and the ability to run, interpret, and act upon reports.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and relationship-building skills.
• Highly organized and attentive to detail.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily stockroom activities, inventory standards, cycle counts and consignment follow-up.
• Oversee shipping/receiving, stock control for the department and back-office ops.
• Develop action plans for depreciated and slow-moving stock.
• Support the boutique in customer service, client treatment and event management.
• Supervise till operations, deposits, and expense control with accuracy and security.
• Ensure policy compliance, audits, health & safety, and IT management.
• Act as store systems user and provide training on procedures/tools.
• Support management with floor management and cross-functional boutique activities.

We are seeking a highly organised and process driven full-time Operations Supervisor to join our Selfridges operations team. In this role, you are responsible for supervising all key operational processes of the store, ensuring operational excellence, process compliance, and a seamless client and team experience. This role reports into the Operations Manager and will be covering several areas of responsibility across stock, health and safety, till management, after sales service, IT management, invoicing, payroll, client treatment and retail excellence.

Job responsibilities

Stock Management & Logistics

• Manage daily stockroom activities, set inventory quality standards, validate stock counts, and manage consignment follow-up.
• Oversee shipping and receiving, cycle counts, stock control for your department, and back-office operations.
• Understand and produce action plans for depreciated and slow-moving stock.
• Support the boutique in maintaining the highest standards of customer service, client treatment, and event management.
• Supervise service-related processes (Care Services, product handling, repairs), ensuring reports are run, reviewed, and followed up with corrective actions.
• Partner with management to support floor management, visual merchandising commerciality, and cross-functional boutique activities.

Till, Expense & Administration

• Supervise till operations, money deposits, and expense control, ensuring accuracy, security, and compliance with procedures.
• Manage departmental reconciliation, Coupa invoices, purchase orders (POs), and payroll-related administration.

Process, Internal Control & Safety

• Ensure the implementation of policies, lead corrective actions, and drive compliance with internal audits and monthly compliance controls.
• Maintain health and safety controls, uniform standards, IT management, and boutique security to maximize security and minimize losses.
• Support smooth organization across all store operations and facilities, monitoring maintenance and supply levels.

Store Systems & Projects

• Act as a key user for store systems and ensure the implementation of new tools.
• Provide operational guidance, onboarding, and training on procedures and system tools to new starters and existing team members.

People & Team Support

• Be present for the team to support, guide, and motivate, acting as a reliable link between the team and management.
• Support with developing and mentoring the team.
