Job summary

Christian Dior Couture in London is seeking a highly organised, full-time Operations Supervisor to oversee store operations across stock, service, and administration. You will supervise stockroom activities, till operations, health and safety, payroll administration, and IT tools, ensuring an exceptional client and team experience.

Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will lead process improvements and mentor the team to uphold Dior’s standards of luxury retail.

Qualifications

• Previous supervisor/management experience in luxury fashion or high-service retail.
• Strong operational knowledge across stock management, audit compliance, health & safety, and boutique administration.
• Analytical mindset with advanced Excel and reporting capabilities.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and relationship-building skills.
• Highly organized and attentive to detail; proactive in resolving issues.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily stockroom activities; set inventory quality standards and validate stock counts.
• Oversee shipping/receiving, cycle counts, stock control, and back-office operations.
• Develop action plans for depreciated and slow-moving stock.
• Maintain the highest standards of customer service, client treatment, and event management.
• Supervise service-related processes (care services, product handling, repairs) and drive corrective actions.
• Partner with management to support floor management, visual merchandising, and cross-functional activities.
• Supervise till operations, money deposits, and expense control with secure procedures.
• Manage departmental reconciliation, Coupa invoices, POs, and payroll-related administration.
• Ensure policy implementation, lead corrective actions, and drive monthly audits and compliance controls.
• Maintain health and safety controls, uniform standards, IT management, and boutique security.
• Support smooth organization across store operations and facilities; monitor maintenance and supplies.
• Act as key user for store systems and implement new tools.
• Provide operational guidance, onboarding, and training to new starters and existing team members.
• Be a supportive leader, mentoring the team and acting as a reliable link to management.

We are seeking a highly organised and process driven full-time Operations Supervisor to join our Selfridges operations team. In this role, you are responsible for supervising all key operational processes of the store, ensuring operational excellence, process compliance, and a seamless client and team experience. This role reports into the Operations Manager and will be covering several areas of responsibility across stock, health and safety, till management, after sales service, IT management, invoicing, payroll, client treatment and retail excellence.

Stock Management & Logistics

• Manage daily stockroom activities, set inventory quality standards, validate stock counts, and manage consignment follow-up.
• Oversee shipping and receiving, cycle counts, stock control for your department, and back-office operations.
• Understand and produce action plans for depreciated and slow-moving stock.

Customer Service & Retail Excellence

• Support the boutique in maintaining the highest standards of customer service, client treatment, and event management.
• Supervise service-related processes (Care Services, product handling, repairs), ensuring reports are run, reviewed, and followed up with corrective actions.
• Partner with management to support floor management, visual merchandising commerciality, and cross-functional boutique activities.

Till, Expense & Administration

• Supervise till operations, money deposits, and expense control, ensuring accuracy, security, and compliance with procedures.
• Manage departmental reconciliation, Coupa invoices, purchase orders (POs), and payroll-related administration.

Process, Internal Control & Safety

• Ensure the implementation of policies, lead corrective actions, and drive compliance with internal audits and monthly compliance controls.
• Maintain health and safety controls, uniform standards, IT management, and boutique security to maximize security and minimize losses.
• Support smooth organization across all store operations and facilities, monitoring maintenance and supply levels.

Store Systems & Projects

• Act as a key user for store systems and ensure the implementation of new tools.
• Provide operational guidance, onboarding, and training on procedures and system tools to new starters and existing team members.

People & Team Support

• Be present for the team to support, guide, and motivate, acting as a reliable link between the team and management.
• Support with developing and mentoring the team.

• Previous experience at Supervisor/management level within luxury fashion or a high-service retail environment.
• Strong operational knowledge across stock management, audit compliance, health & safety, and boutique administration.
• Analytical profile with advanced Excel skills and the ability to run, interpret, and act upon reports.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and relationship-building skills.
• Highly organized and attentive to detail.
