Location: The Upper House Grill and Bar (Funan)

Key Responsibilities
  1. Operational Management: Support the Operations Manager in overseeing daily restaurant operations to ensure efficiency and exceptional service. Monitor all departments, including kitchen, service, and bar, to maintain smooth coordination and high performance.
  2. Staff Supervision and Training: Assist in recruiting, training, and mentoring staff to deliver excellent service and maintain operational standards. Schedule shifts and manage employee performance, ensuring compliance with company policies.
  3. Customer Experience: Address customer concerns and feedback promptly to ensure satisfaction and loyalty. Uphold and enhance the restaurant\'s reputation by maintaining a welcoming and professional atmosphere.
  4. Inventory and Resource Management: Assist in managing inventory levels, including food, beverages, and supplies, to avoid shortages or overstocking. Collaborate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of high-quality ingredients and materials.
  5. Financial Oversight: Monitor daily financial operations, including cash flow, budgets, and expense management. Prepare and analyze sales and performance reports to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  6. Health and Safety Compliance: Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and sanitation standards. Regularly inspect the premises and equipment to maintain a clean and safe environment.
  7. Event Coordination: Assist in planning and executing special events, promotions, and private bookings to drive revenue and attract customers.
  8. Problem Solving: Act as a point of contact for operational issues and resolve them effectively in the absence of the Operations Manager.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Arts or a related field (preferred).
  • 3-5 years of experience in restaurant operations or hospitality management.
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency in restaurant management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Knowledge of food and beverage industry trends and operational best practices.

  • Experience in managing upscale dining establishments.
  • Familiarity with Burmese, Thai, and grill-and-bar cuisine operations.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
