Job summary

Baxter is seeking a commercially driven Service Development Manager to grow our OPAT and Desferrioxamine homecare services across a high-value NHS territory. You will identify, develop and secure new business opportunities, expand patient access, and build strategic partnerships with NHS stakeholders, working cross-functionally to deliver growth and excellent patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Experience in healthcare sales and NHS-facing roles.
• Proven ability to generate new business and manage a sales pipeline.
• Experience selling services or solutions, not just products.
• ABPI qualification.
• OPAT/infusion/homecare or related clinical services knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Develop territory growth plans to increase patient numbers and revenue.
• Build and manage a strong NHS business development pipeline.
• Develop relationships with key NHS stakeholders including Consultants, Pharmacists, Leads, Procurement and Commissioners.
• Lead commercial discussions to secure new service adoption and expand existing accounts.
• Act as the primary commercial contact for OPAT homecare services within the territory.
• Work cross-functionally with Clinical, Pharmacy, Patient Services and Operations teams to support service delivery and customer satisfaction.
• Present service performance and growth opportunities during customer review meetings.
• Monitor NHS market trends and competitor activity to identify growth opportunities.
