Job summary

Advanced Secure Technologies is seeking two Technical Engineers to deploy, configure and support our applications and infrastructure from our Cardiff office. The role focuses on hands-on deployment, troubleshooting, APIs, SQL Server, Windows and Linux environments, and cybersecurity best practices.

You will collaborate with Infrastructure, Development, Technical Support and Project teams to deliver secure solutions for customers and internal teams.

Qualifications

• Experience in a technical engineering, infrastructure, or application support role.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience supporting or configuring Windows Server environments.
• SQL Server and T-SQL experience.
• Experience deploying or supporting web applications.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure and upgrade applications remotely and on customer sites.
• Troubleshoot issues across applications, servers, databases and networks.
• Deploy and support web applications, APIs and integrations.
• Use SQL Server and T-SQL to investigate issues and support configuration.
• Configure and support Windows and Linux server environments.
• Collaborate with Development to investigate and resolve issues.
• Test installations, upgrades and integrations.
• Produce and maintain technical documentation.
• Provide guidance and escalation support to Support Engineers.
• Assist customers with issues and capture diagnostic information.
