Job summary

Equans UK & Ireland is seeking an Account Manager to join the team on a permanent basis. This full-time role (40 hours per week) sits at Harwell and focuses on delivering high-quality FM services to the Moderna MITC site, combining maintenance management with customer-facing leadership.

You will lead a multidisciplinary FM team, manage KPI/SLA delivery, and drive continuous improvement while working to ensure GMP/GxP aligned operations within pharma environments.

Qualifications

• Extensive managerial FM experience, preferably in pharma or regulated settings.
• Hard FM technical qualification required.
• Experience with GxP and GMP environments.
• Proven leadership and team management skills.
• Proficient with facility management software (CMMS, Maximo).
• Strong IT skills with MS Office suite.
• Full clean UK driving licence.
• Able to work as part of a team and build client relationships.
• Available for on-call rota and occasional late hours.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and manage planned preventative maintenance and reactive works.
• Lead stakeholder management across client operations in plant, lab, and manufacturing.
• Ensure service delivery meets contractual KPIs and SLA commitments.
• Provide timely reporting and management communications.
• Maintain ISO-aligned quality management systems and safety standards.
• Mentor and develop the on-site FM team.
• Monitor cost control, WIP, and debt in line with budget targets.
