Job summary

Mitie is seeking a Facility Manager to lead the Integrated Facilities Management services at the GSK Montrose pharmaceutical site. The role focuses on safe, compliant operations within a highly regulated environment, while building strong relationships with key stakeholders.

You will oversee multidisciplinary teams and drive continuous improvement, ensure GMP/GxP adherence, manage budgets and contracts, and report performance to GSK stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Drive governance with GMP, GxP, health and safety, and regulatory requirements; support audits and inspections.

We're looking for a Facility Manager to lead the delivery of Integrated Facilities Management services at the GSK Montrose pharmaceutical manufacturing site. You'll play a critical role in ensuring safe, compliant and efficient operations across a complex and highly regulated environment while building strong relationships with key stakeholders.

Role Responsibilities:

• Lead all facilities management operations across the site, ensuring safe, reliable and compliant service delivery.
• Manage multidisciplinary teams delivering engineering, technical, laboratory support, cleaning, grounds maintenance, security, waste and workplace services.
• Drive compliance with GMP, GxP, health and safety, environmental and regulatory requirements, supporting audits, inspections and quality initiatives.
• Build strong partnerships with GSK stakeholders, providing clear performance reporting and delivering continuous improvement across services.
• Manage budgets, contract performance, asset reliability and operational excellence to achieve contractual KPIs and business objectives.

Required Qualifications:

• Demonstrable Facilities Management leadership experience within a pharmaceutical, biotechnology, life sciences or similarly regulated manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of GMP, GxP, quality management systems, statutory compliance and contractor management.
• Experience managing both technical and soft FM services, with excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
