Job summary

CBRE, Inc. requires an experienced Maintenance Engineer to support day-to-day site operations in Ware on a flexible contract. You will perform hands-on maintenance, liaise with CBRE to arrange callouts, conduct onsite checks, coordinate waste collections and assist with general facilities duties onsite.

Qualifications

• Previous experience within maintenance, facilities administration or building maintenance.
• Experience coordinating or dealing with maintenance issues and contractors.
• Good organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Strong communication skills, both over the phone and via email.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Experience using Google Workspace would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with CBRE to arrange maintenance callouts and site visits.
• Communicate regularly with CBRE via email and telephone.
• Conduct onsite checks to identify and assess maintenance issues.
• Follow up on outstanding maintenance and facilities requirements.
• Coordinate and arrange waste collection.
• Support general upkeep and smooth operation of the site.
• Carry out general facilities and building maintenance duties as required.
• Undertake some manual handling and heavy lifting when required.
• Work independently and manage day-to-day maintenance priorities.
