Job summary

CBRE, Inc. is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Engineer to support day-to-day facilities at the Ware site. You will identify issues, coordinate callouts with CBRE, perform onsite checks and assist with waste collections and general facilities duties.

Strong communication with colleagues and contractors is essential to keep the site operating smoothly. The role is onsite with flexible working hours and a ~45-hour per week expectation.

Qualifications

• Experience in maintenance, facilities administration or building maintenance.
• Experience coordinating maintenance issues and contractors.
• Strong communication and organisational skills; proficient with MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Liaising with CBRE to arrange maintenance callouts and site visits.
• Communicating regularly with CBRE via email and telephone.
• Conducting onsite checks to identify and assess maintenance issues.
• Following up on outstanding maintenance and facilities requirements.
• Coordinating and arranging the collection of waste.
• Supporting the general upkeep and smooth operation of the site.
• Carrying out general facilities and building maintenance duties as required.
