Job summary

CBRE, Inc. is seeking an experienced Maintenance Engineer for an onsite contract role in Ware. You will support day-to-day maintenance and facilities needs, identify issues, liaise with CBRE for callouts, and keep stakeholders updated by phone and email.

The role is hands-on, with approx 45 hours on site per week, flexible hours, and start ASAP. You will perform onsite checks, coordinate waste collections, and assist with general building maintenance tasks, sometimes heavy lifting.

Qualifications

• Experience in maintenance, facilities administration or building maintenance.
• Good organisational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Strong communication skills over phone and email.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with CBRE to arrange maintenance callouts and site visits.
• Conduct onsite checks to identify and assess maintenance issues.
• Coordinate waste collection and general facilities duties.
• Keep relevant parties updated on maintenance issues and progress.
• Perform general building maintenance tasks and light manual handling.
