Job summary

CBRE in Ware is seeking a Maintenance Engineer for a flexible, onsite contract. You will support day-to-day maintenance and facilities needs, coordinate callouts with CBRE, and perform onsite checks to keep operations running smoothly.

You will liaise by phone and email, manage waste collection, and assist with general facilities duties. A proactive, independent approach and ability to lift heavy items are beneficial.

Qualifications

• Experience within maintenance, facilities administration or building maintenance.
• Experience coordinating maintenance issues and contractors.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to multitask.
• Good communication skills over phone and email.
• Proactive, hardworking and able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Liaising with CBRE to arrange maintenance callouts and site visits.
• Communicating regularly with CBRE via email and telephone.
• Conducting onsite checks to identify and assess maintenance issues.
• Following up on outstanding maintenance and facilities requirements.
• Coordinating and arranging waste collection.
• Carrying out general facilities and building maintenance duties as required.
• Some manual handling and heavy lifting may be required.
