Job summary

Fujitsu is seeking an IT Technician to deliver on-site end-user support for HMRC at the Portsmouth Regional Centre. You will work face-to-face with users at the Connect IT Bar, resolving issues with PCs, laptops, peripherals and conferencing hardware.

You will be part of an on-site team providing hands-on IT services, including room AV checks, device moves and occasional off-site homeworker support. Travel within the defined geography may be required.

Qualifications

• Windows 11 expertise required.
• Experience with MS Office and Office 365.
• Proficiency in PC/Laptop hardware and peripherals.

Responsibilities

• User support at the Connect IT Bar.
• Support for network devices, PCs, laptops, Surface Pros, telephony and peripherals.
• AV setup in meeting rooms and checks for full operation.
• Manage local moves and changes on site.
• Support homeworkers during off-site visits as required.
• Develop relationships with HMRC staff across business areas.
• Provide support to Fujitsu and HMRC third parties.
• Feedback issues to ensure new services are engaged successfully.
