Job summary

Assistedlives in Bradford is seeking a reliable IT Support Technician to provide day-to-day technical support to staff and ensure the smooth operation of our IT systems and equipment.

The role covers user account administration, hardware maintenance, software deployment, and basic network support, with a focus on security, onboarding new staff, and working with external providers when needed.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting Windows laptops and Microsoft 365
• Experience troubleshooting hardware and software issues
• Knowledge of user account administration and permissions
• Basic understanding of networking and printers
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Ability to explain technical issues clearly to non-technical staff

Responsibilities

• Set up and configure laptops, monitors, and other IT equipment for staff.
• Create, modify, and remove user accounts in Microsoft 365.
• Provide first-line IT support to staff experiencing technical issues.
• Maintain an up-to-date IT asset inventory and device allocations.
• Assist with IT system rollouts and device upgrades.
• Coordinate with external IT providers for repairs and support.
