Job summary

Morson Edge is recruiting an IT Support Engineer to join an onsite End User Support team near Prestwick Airport. This hands-on role focuses on supporting end users, deploying and maintaining IT equipment, and gaining exposure to infrastructure projects with full training provided.

The 6‑month contract has potential to extend or become permanent. You will work onsite, handle day-to-day IT requests, assist with hardware rollouts and site moves, and document network infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Previous IT support or end user support experience.
• Experience supporting IT hardware and end users.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Eligible for DBS check and full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Provide onsite IT support to end users across the business.
• Assist with the setup, deployment and maintenance of IT equipment.
• Support hardware rollouts, office moves and other IT projects.
• Troubleshoot and resolve a range of day‑to‑day IT issues.
• Work alongside experienced engineers to support infrastructure-related activities.
• Receive training in structured cabling and physical network infrastructure.
• Assist with an initial project documenting the site's existing network infrastructure.
• Maintain accurate IT equipment and infrastructure records where required.
