Job summary

McCarthy Recruitment is seeking an HR Administrator for a permanent, full-time role based in Poole (onsite). The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering a hands-on generalist HR service across multiple locations, supporting managers and employees with a focus on best practice, compliance and a positive workplace culture.

You will handle recruitment, onboarding, employee relations support, performance management, training and wellbeing initiatives, and contribute to HR reporting

Qualifications

• Experience in an HR Officer, HR Administrator, HR Advisor or similar generalist HR role.
• Solid understanding of UK employment law and its practical application.
• Experience supporting employee relations casework and people management processes.

Responsibilities

• Provide compliant, effective HR service to managers and employees.
• Manage onboarding, right-to-work checks and new starter administration.
• Support recruitment, inductions and employee integration.
