Job summary

Astral Heavy Equipment Support by Allscreens Nationwide Ltd is seeking an experienced Heavy Plant Fitter for a large quarry site in Leicestershire. The role focuses on hands-on service, maintenance and upkeep of heavy mobile quarry plant, including loaders, dumpers and excavators, across engines, hydraulics and electrical systems.

Intensive in-house training will be provided; prior mobile quarry plant service experience is best suited and minimal training required for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Experience with heavy mobile quarry equipment
• Ability to diagnose and repair hydraulic, electrical and engine systems
• Hands-on maintenance on large plant at quarry sites

Responsibilities

• Service, maintenance and upkeep of heavy mobile quarry plant machinery
• Repair and fault finding on loaders, dumpers and excavators on site
• Assist with on-site equipment inspections and routine servicing
