Astral Heavy Equipment Support by Allscreens Nationwide Ltd is seeking an experienced Heavy Plant Fitter for a large quarry site in Leicestershire. The role focuses on hands-on service, maintenance and upkeep of heavy mobile quarry plant, including loaders, dumpers and excavators, across engines, hydraulics and electrical systems.

Intensive in-house training will be provided; prior mobile quarry plant service experience is best suited and minimal training required for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Experience with heavy mobile quarry equipment
• Ability to diagnose and repair hydraulic, electrical and engine systems
• Hands-on maintenance on large plant at quarry sites

Responsibilities

Our client, a major rental provider of Heavy Mobile Plant for the Construction, Civil Engineering as well Mining and Quarry industry is looking to recruit a Heavy Plant Fitters position for the Leicestershire area on a large Quarry site. This role is for a hands-on Engineer/Fitter based onsite.

The Role

This role involves the service, maintenance and upkeep of our client’s fleet of large heavy mobile quarry plant equipment including Loaders, Dumpers and excavators. The client is invested in the area and supplies on a long term basis the equipment to its customer, large heavy plant based in the local area. The roles involve the hands-on maintenance, repair and general upkeep of a range of mobile heavy plant mobile quarry machines and vehicles, from engines through to hydraulics and electrical systems and general upkeep. The ability to take information on quickly is key to the success of this role. Intensive in-house training will be provided however strong Mobile Quarry Equipment, Heavy Mobile Plant service experience within mechanical, electrical, hydraulic systems would be best suited and would require least training.
