Job summary

Catalent is seeking an Engineering Coordinator for our Swindon site to coordinate engineering contractors and ensure site safety, GMP compliance, and operational efficiency.

You will manage maintenance work orders in CMMS/JDE, review RAMS, issue Permits to Work, and maintain quality records while liaising with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement. This role is onsite in Swindon, Monday–Friday.

Qualifications

• Engineering background with project management or scheduling experience.
• Experience reviewing RAMS and issuing Permits to Work.
• Experience managing contractors in manufacturing environments.
• Experience using CMMS/ERP systems; JDE knowledge beneficial.
• Good health and safety awareness; IOSH/NEBOSH advantageous.
• Ability to coordinate multiple contractors in a fast-paced setting.
• Strong IT and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise engineering contractors ensuring safety, GMP, and ops compliance.
• Review RAMS and issue permits to work before maintenance starts.
• Manage maintenance work orders via CMMS/JDE and update records.
• Raise and manage engineering quality records including deviations and change controls.
• Coordinate pest control activities and ensure corrective actions are completed.
• Raise POs, obtain quotes, process invoices, assist purchasing.
• Maintain SOPs, permits, and contractor records for compliance.
• Liaise daily with Engineering, Production, Quality, EHS, Procurement and suppliers.
