Job summary

Catalent Swindon houses Zydis® development and manufacturing, with a GMP-compliant analytical lab. The Engineering Coordinator role focuses on coordinating and supervising engineering contractors, ensuring site safety, GMP compliance, and efficient maintenance workflows.

You will review RAMS, manage CMMS/JDE work orders, support audits, and maintain comprehensive engineering records while liaising across Engineering, Production, Quality, EH&S, and Procurement to drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Engineering qualification or equivalent experience in an engineering-related field.
• Experience coordinating contractors in engineering/facilities/manufacturing environments.
• Experience reviewing RAMS and issuing Permits to Work.
• Proficient with CMMS/ERP systems; JDE knowledge is beneficial.
• IOS/NEBOSH qualifications are advantageous.
• Ability to manage multiple contractor activities in a fast-paced setting.
• Strong IT skills and documentation discipline.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise engineering contractors ensuring safety and GMP compliance.
• Review RAMS and issue permits to work before maintenance activities begin.
• Manage maintenance work orders through CMMS/JDE and update records.
• Raise and manage engineering quality records including deviations and change controls.
• Coordinate pest control activities and ensure corrective actions are completed.
• Raise POs, obtain quotes, process invoices, and support purchasing.
• Maintain SOPs, contractor records, service agreements, and compliance paperwork.
