Job summary
Air IT Group is seeking an Onsite Engineer to join our team, based at a single client site in London Bridge and working Monday to Friday onsite.
You will provide day-to-day onsite IT support, troubleshoot issues, maintain and configure equipment, and support infrastructure while delivering a brilliant customer experience.
Qualifications
- Experience as Field Engineer or Onsite Engineer or similar IT support role.
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server and Desktop environments.
- Experience with Microsoft 365, Backup and DRaaS, Entra ID and IaaS tech.
- Good understanding of networking (TCP/IP, firewalls, routing and switching).
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Customer-focused approach and ability to build trusted relationships.
- Able to work onsite at the client office in London Bridge, Monday to Friday.
Responsibilities
- Provide dedicated onsite technical support to users at the client office in London Bridge.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software and end-user IT issues.
- Install, configure, maintain and upgrade IT equipment (desktops, laptops, servers, network gear).
- Respond to incidents and service requests per SLAs and expectations.
- Document work and maintain client records in the PSA system.
- Prioritise workload while delivering excellent customer experience.
- Build strong, trusted relationships with client and Air IT colleagues.
- Identify opportunities to improve systems, performance, and service delivery.
- Ensure work complies with security, safety and operational standards.
- Support project activity and collaborate with wider technical teams.

We're looking for an Onsite Engineer to join our team, working Monday to Friday at one dedicated client site in London Bridge.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys building strong client relationships, becoming a trusted extension of their team and providing hands‑on technical support in an onsite environment.
Rather than travelling between multiple client site, you'll be based with one client, giving you the opportunity to really understand their technology environment, users and business needs.
You'll provide day-to-day onsite IT support, troubleshoot technical issues, maintain and configure equipment, support infrastructure and deliver a brilliant customer experience.
As an Onsite Field Engineer, you will:
- Provide dedicated onsite technical support to users at the client office in London Bridge.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software and end-user IT issues.
- Install, configure, maintain and upgrade IT equipment, including desktops, laptops, servers and network equipment.
- Respond to incidents and service requests in line with agreed SLAs and customer expectations.
- Accurately document work and maintain client records within our PSA system.
- Manage and prioritise your workload while providing an excellent customer experience.
- Build strong, trusted relationships with the client and your Air IT colleagues.
- Proactively identify opportunities to improve systems, performance and service delivery.
- Ensure work is completed in line with security, safety and operational standards.
- Support project activity and work alongside our wider technical teams when required.
- Experience working as a Field Engineer, Onsite Engineer, or in a similar IT support role.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server and Desktop environments.
- Experience supporting Microsoft 365, Backup and DRaaS solutions, Entra ID and Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) technologies.
- Good understanding of networking technologies, including TCP/IP, firewalls, routing and switching.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- A confident, customer‑focused approach with the ability to build trusted relationships.
- Comfortable working independently onsite while collaborating with wider technical teams when needed.
- Able to work onsite at the client office in London Bridge, Monday to Friday.
Most importantly, you'll be someone who genuinely enjoys helping people, takes ownership of technical challenges and wants to become a trusted part of the client's day‑to‑day team.
- Experience with Microsoft Intune and Conditional Access.
- Knowledge of Mimecast email security solutions.
