Job summary

Arvato East Midlands is seeking a meticulous Control Tower Operator to join our fast-paced logistics team. You’ll monitor daily activity, coordinate workflows and act as a central point of contact to keep operations running smoothly and meet customer requirements.

The role requires strong IT skills, clear communication across levels, and a proactive approach to problem solving in a busy distribution environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in a logistics, warehouse, transport, supply chain or control tower environment.
• Strong communication and coordination skills.
• Good IT skills, particularly Microsoft Excel and other operational systems.
• The ability to analyse information and identify issues quickly.
• Excellent organisational and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor daily operational activity and performance across the site.
• Coordinate and prioritise workflows to support the smooth running of the operation.
• Identify operational issues, delays and exceptions and take appropriate action.
• Work closely with warehouse, transport, planning and management teams to resolve issues.
• Monitor KPIs and operational data, highlighting trends and areas requiring attention.
• Maintain accurate records and provide clear and timely updates to relevant stakeholders.
• Support the investigation and resolution of operational problems.
• Ensure processes and procedures are followed consistently.
• Communicate effectively with internal teams and key stakeholders.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the operation.
