Job summary

Arvato East Midlands is seeking a Control Tower Operator to join our on-site team. You will monitor daily operations, coordinate workflows, and resolve issues to keep the site running smoothly and meet customer requirements.

Ideal candidates are organized and analytical, with strong IT skills (Excel) and the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues across warehouse, transport, planning and management. This permanent role offers stable hours and onsite working.

Qualifications

• Experience in a logistics, warehouse, transport, supply chain or control tower environment.
• Strong communication and coordination skills.
• Good IT skills, particularly Microsoft Excel and other operational systems.
• The ability to analyse information and identify issues quickly.
• Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
• A calm and professional approach when working under pressure.
• The confidence to communicate with colleagues at all levels.
• A proactive approach to problem solving and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Monitor daily operational activity and performance across the site.
• Coordinate and prioritise workflows to support the smooth running of the operation.
• Identify operational issues, delays and exceptions and take appropriate action.
• Work closely with warehouse, transport, planning and management teams to resolve issues.
• Monitor KPIs and operational data, highlighting trends and areas requiring attention.
• Maintain accurate records and provide clear and timely updates to relevant stakeholders.
• Support the investigation and resolution of operational problems.
• Ensure processes and procedures are followed consistently.
• Communicate effectively with internal teams and key stakeholders.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the operation.
