Job summary

VolkerWessels UK is seeking a Project Quantity Surveyor to lead the commercial on site for maintenance projects, driving value and cash flow while building strong relationships with clients, subcontractors and suppliers.

This role requires 3+ years onsite maintenance experience, familiarity with NEC contracts, and the ability to manage costs, identify risks and opportunities, and deliver profitable projects. A competitive rewards package and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Onsite maintenance contracts experience (3+ years) is essential.
• Experience with onsite measurements and NEC form of contract.
• Familiarity with other contract forms is desirable.
• Experience in managing others on site is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Act as commercial lead on site, advising on contractual and commercial matters.
• Manage project costs and monitor performance to maximise value and cash flow.
• Identify risks and opportunities, and implement actions to protect profitability.
• Forge strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth delivery.
