Job summary

Trane Technologies is seeking a Service Technician to deliver exceptional customer service and technical support at customer sites under maintenance and service contracts. The role emphasizes diagnosing system problems, performing Planned Preventative Maintenance, and improving operational processes.

Responsibilities include visiting sites, liaising with service desks, and building strong customer relationships while using diagnostic tools and MS Office.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of manufacturing industry is an advantage.
• Excellent people and communication skills with a positive mindset.
• Able to work with minimal supervision.
• Appropriate skilled based certificates with F-Gas.
• Able to cover standby and call outs on a planned schedule, including weekdays, weekends and bank holidays.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose system problems when servicing products and equipment on assigned projects and customer site visits.
• Attend customer sites to carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance, breakdowns, warranty work, hire and commissioning workloads.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers as a trusted point of contact.
• Collaborate with Service desk, Sales, and Operations to share key customer insights.
• Use diagnostic software, apps, and MS Office Suite to support service activities.
• Generate regular reports on completed invoiced work orders and drive improvements.
