Job summary

Sainsbury's is seeking an Online Manager to orchestrate the delivery of our in-store online service, leading a team of shoppers and drivers to provide a seamless, safe shopping experience for both online and in-store customers.

You will manage performance, scheduling, and disciplinary matters, collaborate with store managers, and work early mornings from 04:00 to 08:00 to ensure timely deliveries.

Qualifications

• Proven track record delivering brilliant customer service and coaching colleagues.
• Experience leading a team in fast-paced, customer-facing environment.
• Operational leadership in store absence of senior managers.
• Proven ability to meet or exceed KPIs (sales, availability, customer satisfaction, engagement).
• Experience managing employee relations issues including performance and absence management.

Responsibilities

• Plan and orchestrate the delivery of an online picking and delivery team.
• Lead and coach a large team of shoppers and drivers to deliver a seamless and safe shopping experience for online and in-store customers.
• Collaborate with other managers to ensure the success of the shopping experience of the overall store.
• Manage scheduling and pay, plus handle disciplinary matters.
