SF Partners is recruiting a proactive Supplier Onboarding Specialist for a high-profile eight-week project in the United Kingdom. You will proactively contact suppliers by phone and email to support onboarding and guide them through registration, portal access and system setup.

Experience in supplier onboarding, customer service or procurement administration is ideal. The role offers a daily rate of £212.50 and a structured, target-driven environment with clear project milestones.

Qualifications

Supplier Onboarding Specialist

8 Week Project Contract

£212.50 per day

9-5 Monday - Friday

We are recruiting aproactive and highly organised Supplier Onboarding Specialistto support an exciting project.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with experience in supplier engagement, customer service, account coordination, procurement support or onboarding who enjoy working in a fast paced, target driven environment.

The project involves transitioning suppliers onto either an Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) system or a self service invoicing portal.

You will play a key role in contacting suppliers, guiding them through the onboarding process and ensuring they are successfully set up on the relevant platform.

The Role

• Proactively contact suppliers via telephone and email to support and drive onboarding activity.
• Manage the supplier onboarding process from initial contact through to successful completion.
• Guide suppliers through registration, portal access and system setup.
• Answer supplier queries, troubleshoot issues and provide ongoing support.
• Monitor onboarding progress, maintain accurate records and update tracking systems.
• Follow up with suppliers to ensure onboarding deadlines and targets are achieved.
• Identify and elevate any issues that could delay the onboarding process.
• Liaise with internal teams to ensure a smooth and efficient transition.
• Deliver a professional and positive experience for suppliers throughout the project.

About You

We are keen to speak with candidates who have experience in supplier onboarding, customer service, account management, procurement administration, project coordination or similar roles.

You will ideally have:

• Excellent communication skills and confidence speaking with suppliers over the telephone.
• Experience managing high volumes of outbound calls, emails or customer engagement.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
• A proactive approach, with the confidence to chase outstanding information and follow up regularly.
• Good attention to detail and experience maintaining accurate records.
• Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office and experience using CRM or online portal systems.
• The ability to work independently while contributing to wider team targets.
• Experience with EDI systems, invoicing portals, supplier management or digital onboarding would be advantageous but is not essential.
