Job summary

IC24 is seeking an Onboarding Coordinator to guide new colleagues from offer to first day and beyond. You will manage pre-employment checks, contracts, and records while collaborating with People, IT and Recruitment teams to ensure a smooth start.

You will be the main contact for candidates, balancing a helpful, professional approach with strict compliance. This is a hybrid role across Ashford, Ipswich, Norwich with 37.5 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Previous administrative experience in HR, recruitment, onboarding or compliance.
• High attention to detail and accuracy in records.
• Ability to own tasks from start to finish and manage deadlines.
• Clear, professional communication with candidates and managers.
• Experience with ATS/HRIS is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Own the onboarding journey from verbal offer to first day.
• Coordinate pre-employment checks (identity, DBS, references, right-to-work).
• Prepare contracts and maintain candidate and employee records.
• Keep candidates informed with proactive, timely updates.
• Support hiring managers on onboarding requirements and timelines.
• Coordinate with People Hub, IT and Resource Planning for start dates.
• Maintain data and reporting on onboarding progress and bottlenecks.
• Assist recruitment events and other admin tasks as needed.
• Identify process improvements to make onboarding more efficient.
