Job summary

HSBC in the United Kingdom is seeking an Onboarding Business Analyst for the Group AI Platform. You will own onboarding intake, act as the primary contact, and guide users through onboarding processes.

You will coordinate across engineering, platform operations, product and governance, define SLAs, improve playbooks and dashboards, and drive continuous onboarding efficiency. Strong communication, stakeholder management, and Agile experience with JIRA/Confluence are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in business analysis and requirements engineering.
• End-to-end onboarding ownership, RAID management, and trade-off decisions.
• Strong stakeholder management and user-facing communication.
• Practical Agile experience; proficient with JIRA and Confluence.
• Knowledge of defining and tracking SLAs/OLAs and KPIs.

Responsibilities

• Own onboarding intake and act as the primary point of contact for onboarding/migration requests.
• Run structured discovery and capture requirements (use case, data, model type, environments, access needs, non-functional requirements).
• Coordinate delivery across engineering, platform operations, product, governance, and users to progress onboarding and unblock dependencies.
• Manage BAU onboarding operations, including user sharing/demos and ensuring requests move from intake to completion.
• Define, track, and communicate SLAs/status and continuously improve onboarding assets (templates, playbooks, FAQs, dashboards, metrics) to reduce cycle time and friction.
