Job summary

HSBC Holdings plc in Sheffield is seeking an Onboarding Business Analyst to join the Group AI Platforms team. You’ll own onboarding intake, act as the primary contact for onboarding and migration requests, and guide users through the platform capabilities, ensuring a smooth onboarding experience.

The role requires structured discovery to capture requirements, coordination across engineering, platform operations, product and governance, plus BAU onboarding operations.

Qualifications

• Business analysis and requirements engineering with artefacts like problem statements, scope, assumptions, dependencies, user journeys, stories and acceptance criteria.
• End-to-end onboarding ownership, triage, prioritisation, milestone tracking, RAID management and trade-offs.
• Strong stakeholder management and proactive status updates, ETA and blockers communication.

Responsibilities

• Own onboarding intake and act as the primary contact for onboarding/migration requests; guide users through onboarding.
• Run structured discovery to capture use cases, data, model type, environments and non-functional requirements.
• Coordinate delivery across engineering, platform operations, product, governance and users to progress onboarding.
• Manage BAU onboarding operations, including user sharing/demos and moving requests from intake to completion.
• Define, track and communicate SLAs/status; continuously improve onboarding assets (templates, playbooks, FAQs, dashboards).
