Job summary

HSBC is seeking an experienced CTO Product Owner to lead AI-enabled product initiatives within its UK communications platform. You will own product strategy, roadmaps and governance, coordinating with technical and business stakeholders to ensure product health and customer impact.

The role emphasizes risk management, operational resilience and end-to-end lifecycle oversight, with a focus on responsible AI practices and scalable delivery in a large financial services environment.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in a product role (PO/PM) with stakeholder collaboration.
• Experience managing multiple products/services within a complex org.
• Experience delivering across product lifecycle and roadmap-driven decisions.
• Knowledge of SDLC and Agile/Scrum environments.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
• Experience identifying practical AI use cases and responsible AI considerations.

Responsibilities

• Manage products across their full lifecycle.
• Manage incidents, bugs and operational activities.
• Provide product support to key stakeholders.
• Monitor service health, operational resilience and customer experience.
• Identify and manage risks, issues, dependencies and costs.
• Ensure appropriate support and operating models are in place.
• Consolidate, replace or retire a product or service when evidence supports it.
• Plan safe transitions with stakeholders to minimise customer disruption.
• Keep long-term product health aligned with immediate priorities.
