Job summary

Taff Housing Association in Caerphilly is seeking a Supported Accommodation Manager to launch our new service for six care-experienced young people aged 16–18. You will lead a dedicated team, provide trauma-informed support and help residents move towards independent living.

We offer clinical supervision, reflective practice and ongoing training within a psychologically informed environment, with line management responsibilities and on-call duties as part of a dynamic, supportive workplace.

Qualifications

• Level 5 Management Diploma or equivalent required or willingness to work towards.
• Excellent literacy and numeracy skills.
• Educated to degree level or equivalent.
• Experience of support work in housing, voluntary agency or social services.
• Understanding of trauma-informed environments and safeguarding procedures.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operation of the supported accommodation for six care-experienced young people aged 16–18 in Newbridge, Caerphilly.
• Provide line management and leadership to the accommodation team.
• Ensure PTSD-informed, trauma-informed, psychologically-based support for residents.
• Lead development of the new service and participate in on-call rota and flexible hours.
