Job summary

Get Staffed Online Recruitment Limited is seeking a hands-on Team Leader to manage live construction site unloads across Reading, Southampton, Chichester, Brighton and the South Coast. You will lead on-site teams of subcontractors and employees, ensuring safety, efficiency and on-time offloads on each project.

This fast-paced role requires a solid grounding in site work, strong leadership, planning and communication with Site Managers.

Qualifications

• Valid CSCS card.
• Full UK driving licence.
• A sound grounding in construction/site working.
• Experience leading teams on live construction sites.

Responsibilities

• Lead teams of subcontractors and employees on site in a fast-paced environment.
• Prepare in advance for allocated work (e.g. site visits, Google Maps, contacting Site Managers and Drivers).
• React to and remedy construction site issues during vehicle unloading.
• Ensure sufficient resources are in place for allocated work, managing sickness and absence.
• Ensure lateness or absence is recorded and Area Field Operations informed.
• Build relationships with construction Site Managers.
• Complete training toolbox talks with unloaders.
• Train unloaders and keep an accurate record of training.
• Investigate customer service issues and complaints, providing feedback as required.
• Provide feedback and reports as required, including weekly grading of unloaders.
• Attend and participate in meetings and reviews (Zoom, conference calls or in person).
• Carry out any reasonable task as requested by your Line Manager or Support Office.
