Job summary

Bimplus is seeking a Site Supervisor for a small fit-out project in Central Reading, starting 24 August for a 6-week duration. The role involves hands-on supervision of a small team of subcontractors on a live site, working closely with a client who remains in occupation during the works.

The ideal candidate will hold SSSTS and First Aid at Work, have proven experience supervising fit-out or small-scale construction projects, and be based within a reasonable commuting distance of Reading.

This is a hands‑on role managing a small team of subcontractors on a live site, working closely with a client who will remain in occupation throughout the works.

Responsibilities

Site Supervision & Coordination

• Supervise day‑to‑day site activities, managing 2–4 subcontractors and ensuring works are delivered safely, on time, and to specification.

Health & Safety Management

• Maintain high standards of site safety, ensuring compliance with HSE regulations and carrying out regular checks across all activities.

Toolbox Talks & Workforce Briefings

• Deliver toolbox talks and daily briefings, ensuring all operatives are aware of site procedures and safety requirements.

Site Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain accurate site records including daily site diaries, progress updates, and any incidents or variations.
• Act as the key point of contact for the client on‑site, ensuring minimal disruption to operations while maintaining site security and control at all times.

Requirements

• Must have valid SSSTS
• Must have valid First Aid at Work
