Job summary

Emmaus Norfolk & Waveney is seeking a Supported Accommodation Manager for their Bungay site. • Experience in supported accommodation, housing management, or homelessness services with safeguarding knowledge.
• Staff supervision, team leadership, and collaboration with volunteers and external partners.
• Develop and implement individual support plans including risk assessments and goal setting.
• Maintain records using case management or housing systems and ensure compliance and reporting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with diverse groups.
• Organisational and problem-solving skills for multiple priorities, emergencies, and service quality.
• Experience in or commitment to the voluntary sector or social enterprise and trauma-informed approaches.
• Relevant qualification in social care, housing, support work, or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operation of supported housing for companions.
• Manage referrals, assessments, move-ins and move-ons, and ensure clear support plans.
• Lead staff and volunteers; supervise day-to-day duties and wellbeing of residents.
• Maintain safeguarding, health and safety and compliance with housing regulations.
• Monitor occupancy and performance data and report findings.
• Manage budgets related to accommodation services and support income/funding processes.
• Liaise with external agencies to coordinate services and opportunities for residents.
