We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Charity Operations Manager to oversee daily business activities and ensure the smooth functioning within our organisation. The Operations Manager, based in Coventry, will be responsible for the management of activities relating to the support and development of companions in a manner that embodies the Emmaus ethos. We are looking for someone to provide effective leadership and management to the Community and Enterprise Teams. In line with our strategic priorities, the Operations Manager will further develop links with referral partners and establish new partnerships.
Working alongside companions and reporting to the Director, the successful candidate will be expected to provide and promote a supportive and nurturing environment for companions whilst also successfully delivering strategic priorities to support the community towards becoming financially self‑sustainable.
The successful candidate must demonstrate the following:
Minimum of 3 years management experience
Ability to support, mentor, coach, motivate and lead
Experience of managing challenging behaviour and conflict resolution
Managing multi‑faceted operations/sites
As a member of the Management Team, you will also actively contribute to external communications, policy development, business development and marketing.

This is a permanent full‑time role, 37.5 hours per week, with a starting salary of 35k
Monday‑Friday with flexibility to cover sickness and holidays as required. Participating in a 1-in-4 emergency on‑call rota, providing responsive support as required.
