Job summary

CHM in Portlethen is seeking a Supply Chain & Operations Administrator to support day-to-day shipping, order processing and admin across the Supply Chain & Operations teams.

The role involves creating shipping documents, coordinating UK and international logistics, updating databases and providing general admin support to multiple departments to ensure timely manufacture, shipment and delivery of orders.

Qualifications

• General standard grades, SVQ in Administration or relevant work experience.
• Good face-to-face communication skills.
• Strong organisation skills, with pro-active and task orientated approach.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Flexible approach.
• Strong IT Skills: Sage 200 would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Manage the daily administration duties relating to shipping of goods and orders.
• Coordinate UK and International logistics with the Supply Chain Co-ordinator.
• Create draft shipping documents and record order information on the company’s database.
• Dispatch sales orders using Sage and circulate relevant paperwork to manufacturing.
• Maintain supplier records and book courier services.
• Provide general office administration support and document control as required.
• Monitor shared inboxes and support the Supply Chain Co-ordinator as needed.
