Job summary

Delta Housing is seeking a Scheme Manager for Leyland Court in Basildon to provide on-site management, ensuring residents live in a safe, well-maintained environment that promotes wellbeing and community engagement. You will be the key link between residents and the organisation, delivering high-quality customer service, overseeing day-to-day ops, and ensuring services meet health and safety requirements.

The role is based on-site full-time (35 hours/week) with a hybrid policy at Delta Housing

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal and written communication.
• Ability to build relationships with residents, staff and stakeholders.
• Understanding the needs of vulnerable residents.
• Ability to prioritise workloads and manage multiple tasks.
• Commitment to delivering excellent customer service for residents.

Responsibilities

• Promote resident wellbeing and social inclusion through engagement.
• Conduct welfare checks and record welfare observations.
• Oversee day-to-day scheme operations; maintain safety and cleanliness.
• Perform routine compliance tasks including fire safety and water hygiene checks.
• Report and coordinate repairs with contractors and internal teams.
