Job summary

Galliford Try Group is seeking an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join our Exeter team and contribute to multiple South West projects on site. You will support cost reporting, subcontract procurement, and commercial administration while upholding safe working practices and value maximisation.

You will work with the Commercial team on cost systems, bid evaluation, and monthly payment applications, gaining experience across a busy project environment and Agile Working arrangements where applicable.

Qualifications

• Experience in cost reporting and reporting expenditure to business units.
• Involvement in procurement of subcontractors and bid evaluation.
• Understanding of change management and contract administration.

Responsibilities

• Participate in creating a knowingly safe working environment.
• Use Oracle software to report cost and value to the business unit.
• Interpret expenditure reports from internal cost systems.
• Assist in subcontract procurement and bid evaluations.
• Assist in change management and compensation event quotations.
• Provide information to the Commercial team for monthly payment applications.
