Job summary

Brellis Recruitment Ltd is seeking an experienced HR Consultant for a hands-on, site-based role at our Coventry manufacturing site on a 6-month fixed-term contract with potential extension.

The role focuses on employee relations, attendance, performance, and supporting managers with day-to-day people matters across the plant. You will work closely with production teams and ensure compliance with UK employment law.

Qualifications

• Experienced HR generalist in manufacturing/engineering environments.
• Strong knowledge of UK employment legislation.
• Experience handling disciplinary, grievance, absence and performance cases.
• Ability to advise managers and work on site with shop-floor teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day HR guidance to managers and staff.
• Support ramp-up hiring and onboarding documentation.
• Assist with employee relations cases (disciplinary, grievance, attendance).
• Advise on attendance and performance management.
• Ensure HR policies comply with UK law.
• Manage recruitment lifecycle from hire to offboarding.
• Monitor HR metrics and provide insights.
