Job summary

Medlock Partners Ltd in Droitwich is recruiting an experienced HR Advisor to support day-to-day HR across the employee lifecycle. This permanent, on-site role suits someone with generalist HR experience in manufacturing or engineering settings.

You will provide first-line HR advice, coach managers, handle employee relations, update HR systems, and support onboarding, recruitment, training and policy updates. The role offers stability in a well-established organisation with a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• University degree and/or CIPD Level 5 qualification or working towards this.
• 2+ years' experience within an HR Advisor/generalist HR role.
• Experience within a manufacturing, engineering or similar operational organisation is preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships and work effectively with people at all levels across the business.
• Good organisational and administrative skills, with working knowledge of HR systems and processes.
• Strong problem-solving skills with a practical, logical and solutions-focused approach to employee relations and conflict management.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-line HR advice and guidance, supporting and coaching managers in line with HR policies, procedures and current legislation.
• Lead full-cycle recruitment activity for professional, technical, administrative and production positions.
• Provide an effective onboarding programme for new hires, ensuring appropriate orientation and training programmes are established.
• Update and maintain the HR Information System and HR records, systems and metrics.
• Advise payroll of required changes and support the HR Manager with reporting to managers.
