Homes for Students Ltd is recruiting a Maintenance Operative for the Compass property in Birmingham. The role is 40 hours per week, 9:00am–5:30pm, Monday to Friday. You will perform planned and reactive maintenance, ensuring statutory compliance and high-quality service to residents and stakeholders.

Experience in property maintenance or related trades is preferred. The role requires a proactive, team-oriented approach with strong organisational and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Experience in property maintenance within a similar environment or trades background.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned and reactive maintenance within the property.
• Ensure statutory compliance is maintained at all times.
• Report and respond to issues with minimal supervision and liaise with suppliers/contractors.
• Drive a high-quality customer experience through speed and quality of service.
