Job summary

Dematic is seeking a skilled maintenance technician to service AMHE equipment on client sites. You will diagnose mechanical, electrical and PLC faults, perform repairs and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards. The role requires reading technical drawings and maintaining accurate records.

Experience with conveyor systems and pre-planned maintenance schedules will help you succeed. On-site work with travel to client sites is expected, with a focus on reliability and continuous

Qualifications

• ONC or equivalent in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering (electrical preferred).
• Understanding of mechanical, electrical and electronic manuals & drawings.
• Basic understanding of control systems and PLC equipment.

Responsibilities

• Carry out AMHE equipment servicing in accordance with quality standards and schedules.
• Undertake scheduled repairs per manufacturer recommendations and industry standards.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, electronic and PLC faults and perform repairs.
• Prioritise system faults and comply with Health & Safety legislation.
• Accurately record all work and support continuous improvement and sales opportunities.
• Maintain product flow and keep on-site spares at optimum levels.
• Represent the company professionally and maintain customer relations.
• Adhere to quality processes and procedures.
